It is used to determine the total halogen acid gas content in low-halogen and halogen-free flame-retardant cables, as well as to assess the acidity of these gases by measuring pH and electrical conductivity.
Complies with the following standards: GB/T 17650.1‑1998, GB/T 17650.2‑1998, IEC 60754‑1:1994, and IEC 60754‑2:1991; and also meets the requirements specified in Table 6 of GB/T 19666‑2005 “General Requirements for Flame‑Retardant and Fire‑Resistant Wires and Cables,” as well as Clauses 6.3.4 of GA 306.1‑2007 and GA 306.2‑2007, and Clauses 9.10 and 9.11 of UL 2556‑2007.

Overview:
It is used to determine the total halogen acid gas content in low-halogen and halogen-free flame-retardant cables, as well as to assess the acidity of the gases by measuring pH and electrical conductivity.

Main technical parameters:
1. Tubular Furnace: The heating chamber has an effective length of 600 mm and a tube diameter of 42 mm, equipped with an adjustable electric heating system. Heating power: 220 V / 10 kW.
II. Combustion Tube:
1. Material: Refractory tube made of silicon dioxide, resistant to corrosive gases.
2. Specifications: Inner diameter 40 mm; the extension length on the inlet side of the tubular furnace is 60–200 mm, and on the outlet side is 60–100 mm, with a gap provided to accommodate thermal expansion.
3. Combustion boat for the halogen acid gas release measurement apparatus:
1. Material: Made of fused quartz tubing.
2. Specifications: Length 100 mm, width 25 mm, depth 10 mm.
3. Combustion boat insertion method: A strip-shaped magnet and platinum wire are used to manipulate the boat.
4. Gas Collection: Two flasks were used; one was equipped with a magnetic stirrer and contained 220 mL of sodium hydroxide solution.
