Compliant with the national standard GB/T 2951-2008, this apparatus is used to measure the elongation and permanent deformation of wire and cable insulation and sheaths under thermal and load‑bearing conditions, thereby determining material properties. The specimen is suspended in an oven, with a weight attached to the lower clamp; after 15 minutes, the distance between marked points is measured, and the elongation percentage is calculated.
Technical specifications:
1. Straight rulers: 3 pieces, fixed to the stand, with a total length of 200 mm and an accuracy of 1 mm;
2. Test stations: 3 sets, with three sets each of test fixtures and weights, enabling simultaneous testing of three specimens.
3. Weights: three each of 10 g, 20 g, 50 g, and 100 g;
4. Material Description: The bracket and weights are precision‑machined from A3 steel and undergo electroplating.
